at Easter lunch somehow this topic came up. I had no idea it was squirrels making that noise. I thought it was birds
They make this noise and another raspy noise, a bit like a cat hissing, when I walk past a tree behind home with my cat. They don’t seem happy about the cat being there, despite him being 21, half blind and deaf, and not even noticing them. They’ve even thrown acorns at us.
I have a chipmunk that lives in my front porch. Every morning when the sun hits it he gets out and sings his song for at least 15 minutes straight. It’s so loud :) I have to replace the porch this year and will be building a chipmunk home within it for him.
You could set up a trail cam to see what he gets up to?
Providing him with a home is legit ace though. How will you keep him about whilst you’re doing it?
