“The truth will set you free come back to bite you in the ass.”
Those are definitely not people that ever learned to drive a manual transmission.
Please allow me this opportunity to jump in and complain about the minority, but not insignificant number, of people that don’t seem to be aware that that is even an option (just taking your foot off of the gas/accelerator to slowly decelerate).
Every couple weeks or so I seem to find myself behind someone that’s always either accelerating, or braking, with the brake lights repeatedly flashing on momentarily for no apparent reason. It’s like they realize that they’re going just a little faster than they want, and definitely don’t want to accelerate any more, so the only thing they know to do is hit the brake, instead of just taking their foot off of the accelerator. So they’ve hit the brake and now they’re going too slow, so foot moves off the brake and back to the accelerator. Rinse, lather, repeat.
End rant. Thank you for this opportunity to vent.
I’ve been seeing these posts in various communities for at least a couple weeks. I’ve seen some communities ban the user, but then a different user starts doing it. No idea what’s going on or what the point is.
For those that haven’t seen these posts and want to watch for them (if just for curiosity), sort by “New” occasionally. They get downvoted and/or deleted by mods pretty quickly, so they’re not likely to show up in most other sorts.
I don’t care how many Luigis it takes, as long as we get all of the CEOs, and free all of the Luigis.
the sewer system definitely can not handle

NOTUS reported on Thursday morning that seven of the more than 500 studies cited in the report did not appear to have ever been published. An author of one study confirmed that while she conducted research on the topics of anxiety in children, she never authored the report listed. Some studies were also misinterpreted in the MAHA report.
And no mention anywhere in the article that these kind of errors are symptomatic of LLM generated text.
When is the media going to stop dancing around shit in order to appear unbiased and start doing their job as the Fourth Estate by calling out obvious horseshit?
ETA: Same goes for the original article that the above linked article references. Listing lots of errors that are so ridiculous, that they’re either AI/LLM generated, or somebody intentionally inserting errors to make it look like the report was LLM generated.
And yet, even that article dances around the obvious issue without apparently having the simple courage to just say, “These kinds of errors are highly symptomatic of AI/LLM generated text.”
Nobody said it did.
I don’t know if things will be different this time around, but I recall similar restrictions to the COVID vaccine when they were still in the process of rolling it out and there was limited supply.
So, here’s the thing. The pharmacist would ask, “Do you have one of these conditions that put you at high risk?”. You could simply answer, “Yes.” They would not ask you which one. They would not ask for proof. They would just give you the shot.
So, do what you will with that info.
Doesn’t matter if he thought they would do it. Just coming up with the idea is enough to make it clear that he’s a tasteless piece of garbage, and that NOBODY should be parading him around as someone to emulate.
People make mistakes. Some people learn from their mistakes. Some people learn from other’s mistakes. Some mistakes are so egregious, reflecting such abysmally poor judgement, that they should never be lived down, even if for no other reason than to serve as a warning, so that others may learn.
That dip shit has made a lot of those mistakes. He shouldn’t be in the public eye anymore. He should be a productive member of society working as an assistant to the junior manager at an obscure toilet paper company.
You left out the part where he then published it for all of his followers.
In between having the idea that no respectable human being should ever have, to the point that he clicked “Publish” to send the video out to everyone, he had soooooo many opportunities for self reflection and a realization that that was a really fucking bad idea. Yet, he did it anyway.
