The side doesn’t matter to me. I have one screen in front and one to the side. The one in front is straight ahead just like a setup with only one monitor. My second monitor is some Dell 1280x1024 monitor from 2004 or something. It fits stuff like Mumble, Spotify, or documentation for something I might be working on.
This explains why most pillows are way too flat for me. Relatively broad shoulders and a firm bed. I have a pile of pillows that are just too low/flat.
True. My microwave drifts quite excessively. However it can give a reliable time together with the oven. The oven was designed by some crazy ppl and thus it’s almost impossible to change the time. It’s usually correct with the minutes and doesn’t seem to drift, but for half of the year it’s wrong because of daylight saving. Combined with the microwave that is probably like 5-20 minutes ahead but at least close tot he right hour you can get a good sense of the actual time.
Honestly what doesn’t annoy me? The list is pretty short. I’ve never used Outlook before my work, I’m used to Gmail. Outlook feels remarkably shit for something so commonly used. Microsoft ia horrible at UI design imo. I can never find what I need and things that are supposed to be simple are somehow very convoluted.
Yeah as long as they stay outside of the restricted areas (near bed or chairs) they get to stay. There’s a spider in my bedroom that’s been there for months in the same spot. Right next to the balcony door.

There’s a big difference between food safety and not eating meat. One is about companies putting dangerous stuff in food that can potentially harm people, the other is about something which humans have been eating ever since they existed. I understand that there are some arguments to be given about why we shouldn’t eat meat, but those are definitely not as widely supported as disallowing the companies to inject “poison” into our food. In my opinion banning meat definitely would go way too far, the cost of banning meat far exceeds the benefits for public wellbeing.
This is what my German teacher meant when he said that I’d “need it someday”.
