Started my first playthrough of Sekiro and it’s really hard. I’m slowly embracing the playstyle, but I have so many habits to break from the other Souls games. I like it, but I don’t think I’ll be up for NG+ if I ever finish the NG run.
Also started playing Sable and I really like it so far. It kind of feels like an open world Zelda type of game without combat. It’s quite relaxing, and the art style is absolutely beautiful.
Yup, it can add some nice colour, but besides that there isn’t much point. Thanks for the celery validation.
Raw celery. Most people seem to say it has no flavour. To me it smells and tastes similar to vodka and makes me sick to even think about. It’s also kinda squeaky on the teeth which is unacceptable. Cooked in a soup or whatever is fine.
Cabbage rolls. Specifically that combination of ingredients has made me sick by smelling it in the past, though it’s not as bad now as an adult, and they do taste good. Cooked/boiled cabbage in any other context never bothered me.
Pickled onions. I love onions and can eat them raw, but I couldn’t even finish one mini pickled one due to the resemblance to stomach acid, taste and smell.
The Fortune Teller shop music is so good.
Long story short, the “!” version will take the person clicking the link to their home instance’s version of that community, keeping them logged in and able to subscribe/interact. It’s much nicer to deal with sharing communities that way.
There was another game that came out the same year (2017) called A Hat in Time. I recommend checking that out if you’re even lukewarm on 3D platformers.

Appreciation, maybe? There were books before the internet, but I think it’s no contest that the internet is the best resource for information that has ever existed. Pre-internet people didn’t have FOMO because they didn’t know what was coming.
FWIW I don’t think it’s weird at all to feel that way. I grew up when the internet became accessible to everyone, and I would not want to go back to before then despite the new problems it poses.
Thank you. I’m a mega-loner hermit and where I’m going is a very small town. If there’s a place for me in the community there I’ll give it a shot, but even if not, I still think I’ll be a lot better off than I am now.
Moving far away from the place I have lived almost my entire life. Like you said, it’s hard to see much of a future - there isn’t one here for me. It’s unaffordable, I hate most of the neighbours, and I’m paying rent at twice the cost of a mortgage payment. A renoviction would make me homeless. Fuck that and fuck this city, I’m out this summer.
There were some good times in it for sure. If I was a kid and experienced it like SM64 and Banjo Kazooie I’m sure I’d rate it higher than 6/10 and have less complaints. Overall it just feels tedious in comparison to those classics despite having a really cool moveset. Like I mentioned, I’d rather they made a new game than remake this, I’ll still play new games they put out.

I appreciate that they wanted to make it better, but honestly I don’t think most of the enhancements are what was “wrong” with the game (a map is very welcome, though). And they added another currency?
I wanted to like the original more than I did, and I’m ok with it staying in my memory as a 6/10. Probably won’t buy the full version, but might try the demo just to see. Would have rather seen a new game from them instead.

Having experience drinking water from a glass that wasn’t rinsed, I agree you shouldn’t ingest dish soap.
Not to mention that soap alone doesn’t get rid of food particles, it’s the water’s job to carry it off the dish and down the drain.
We deserve so much better than this…
Remnant 2. I have no idea what’s going on, but I’m having a good time. The systems are pretty complex and unexplained so I just equip things that seem cool. So far so good! Thanks to other players joining my game I’ve been able to solve the puzzles, which honestly I would have had to lookup solutions for if I were only playing solo.
I think so in theory. I acquired it, but haven’t found anyone using lightning yet. LB to parry/absorb, RB to unleash it?
Have not made it past Genichiro phase 1 yet so I went elsewhere looking for powerups. I beat Juzou first try, but the long arm centipede man took hours, a lot like every other boss and mini boss lol.
