Is your drain impeller blocked with food, or is your pump motor dying?
The middle adjustable rack means half sheet baking pans actually fit on the bottom, or wine glasses will actually fit in the middle. Definite upgrade over earlier Bosches.

Valve would be taking on a huge compatibility problem in exchange for maybe better battery life in scenarios that already have good battery life.
Keep the ambitions low, lots of play/snack breaks, and try to pick places where kids can be kids.
Camping is a good option if you already have the gear. Science museums are good too because they’re family friendly while usually having stuff for the grown ups.
