Went to the big shops today, bought 2 pairs of jeans and 2 jumpers in the sales. Was a bit busy in there but the sales were good and jeans were needed and a good buy.

If your body clock feels better to nap during day and stay up later at night, just do it! You’re not bound to any one else’s schedules, just do what is best for you.

SituationCake@aussie.zoneto Melbourne@aussie.zone•Discussion Thread ❄️ Sunday 8 June 20253·2 days agoI’m not sure what this means because the cuticle is the thicker skin stuff between the bottom of the nail and finger? Do you just mean the skin gets nicked because you cut too much off the top? You could try washing/disinfecting the nail scissors or clippers. Bacteria might be living on them that keeps reinfecting any nicks each time you do your nails. Order of operation is wash hands, disinfect clippers, then trim nails. Hopefully that prevents any further instances!

On the couch in warm house about to watch a movie. Yay for heating!
She keeps asserting her lies until she gets completely cornered by the evidence and then changes the story and comes up with some excuse for the lies. Excuses like, oh I was embarrassed, oh I got confused, etc. I think she did it.
I have a splitting headache. Had 2 Panadol and a coffee about an hour ago, has dulled it a bit, but it’s still there. Today will be unproductive.
I’m so sorry.
SituationCake@aussie.zoneto Melbourne@aussie.zone•Discussion Thread 🐬 Thursday 5 June 20252·5 days agoI believe it is most productive to work to your body clock preferences, whether you are an early bird or night owl. Societal arrangements generally favour early birds, so some of us are just permanent double shot caffeine addicts in the A.M.

SituationCake@aussie.zoneto Melbourne@aussie.zone•Discussion Thread 🦕 Wednesday 4 June 20254·7 days agoBest way is to just start. Even if you feel the output is useless gibberish, and just keep at it for at least short time, maybe 15-30 min if you can. Then take a break and revise the gibberish, you’ll be surprised there will be useful starting points in there, or you’ll think this is all wrong, it should be xyz instead- and there you have it, you’ve started and have a direction to go in.

Same. Would love to live amongst fresh air and views, but having to work means can’t do that. Maybe retirement!
