as someone who just got told to not post there ever again (i was not being mean, i was adding to community discussion), describing this community as “inclusive” is a bit of a misnomer.

usually a band plays for ~30-45m - enjoying music time - and ~15m-1h (depending on the setup for that night) of downtime for chatting.

as one with limited mobility, i have made friends at the local, extremely small, music venue. tickets at the door are $20, beer is cheap, and everyone is super friendly.

because its a small place, the owner lets me take a chair with me when i am going to one of the stages that has no seating (i use a cane; its hard to stand for long periods). i usually sit next to the merch tables, and the friends of the bands usually strike up conversation.

this is a suuuuuper small place. it has 2-3 stages (depending on the night), but they are really close together, so only one band at a time can play (two stages are outside because the building is so small). even if its not music, go to really small local places that get decent crowds - they are a lot more personable.

after starting to print d&d miniatures, i switched from fff to resin printing; i have not looked back. the increase in fidelity between fff and resin is unfathomable.

i havent been able to find one. i have specific storage amounts in mind, so i search for my storage amount then sort by cheapest.

these were most likely filmed on federal land that is super easy to get permits for. there is a large area in inland southern california for these types of things that the federal government controls and is legally required to give permits for (unless environmental concerns like leaving your trash arises).

if this is true, its the same area where burning man and other desert festivals are held : D

as an american, i have to assume its because its a bigger number. “graphs go up and right, and bigger numbers are better.” is a motto for a lot of terrible practices here.

one of these that has been bothering me lately is when people state something like “ten times less!”. this statement means nothing to me, but it has a bigger number than a % of total.

i feel like the odd one out whenever i tell people i dont want the shitty ide launcher for jetbrains products on my computer. i havent used their products because of that launcher.

your package manager repositories also dont have it, and the company didnt set it up to work with one. download the .deb from their website…
