    I’m glad this term didn’t mean what I initially thought it might. I thought it was something far less innocuous.

    Whoever wrote this article is really dim.

    While it might seem harmless, the label isn’t always flattering.

    It’s just a new term for brown nosing, which has never been seen as anything but critical and hostile.

    Some modern cultures frown upon even the slightest and argumentative critique. As a result, any dialog now is praising. Kids are not that cynical and lying yet and don’t like this kind of hypocrisy. This behaviour is just the residue of honesty. But worry not – in a few years they will learn to keep their opinions to themselves and will wear those permanent smiles on their faces. Just like you want them to.
