  • Crush patriarchy. That’s the system that’s failed these men after all. It wasn’t progressive values that promised them women to dispose of. It wasn’t feminism that promised them easy success and automatic status.

It’s the promise of patriarchy that has “been stolen from us”. And it’s the restoration of patriarchy these men are clamoring for. Men want their privilege back and the Left can accommodate them for the low low price of jettisoning feminist values from the movement.

This is really the most Democrat bullshit ever. Left politics is getting more support than ever, but we’re going to get obsessed with pleasing the groups that hate and oppose us instead of championing the issues of those who support us.

In Johnny Cash’s “Live from Folsom Prison” album there is a song called ‘cocaine blues’. The first verse goes like this:

early one morning while making the rounds

I took a shot of cocaine and I shot my woman down

I went right home and I went to bed

I stuck that loving forty-four beneath my head.

I keep this in my back pocket when conservatives claim that Rap and Hip Hop glorify violence, guns, misogyny, and drug use. I defy you to find something from NAS or Killer Mike that can compete on the level of classic country.

  • Linux is easier to install than Windows. With the new Win11 requirements, Linux is the only choice for PC hardware more than 5yo. And like you say, hardware drivers just work. This used to be Windows major advantage, but now the chance you run into a compatibility issue is about the same for either OS.

  • OK, but the logical comparison here is not the OS on Switch, Xbox, PlayStation or any generic handheld, it’s to SteamOS, where Windows struggles to compete.

Like everyone else who “chooses” Windows, ROG has surrendered to what’s the default. Never mind that Windows has spent decades to position themselves that way through incentive, obstacle, and plain old coercion.

I don’t expect you to care about Microsoft’s business practices, but you ought to care that they didn’t achieve or maintain their market position by creating good software or giving a tiny shit about user freedom.
