It has never been on F-droid. I’ve been following the service since it started. It didn’t even have a mobile app not that long ago.

It also doesn’t cost them much of anything
Positive PR and little draw backs means that everyone is generally pretty happy
Tailscale needs Tailscale to work
That seems obvious
Much more user friendly
Json is awful for config
Netbird isn’t on F-droid
Are we talking about the same thing?
The “well known vendors” tend to be crap especially on a security level
Wireguard doesn’t do NAT/Firewall traversal nor does it have SSO
Tailscale manages the underlying Wireguard for you. I would be great if Wireguard had native NAT traversal but that isn’t the case.
I’m not that worried as there are alternatives like Netbird. The underlying tech really isn’t hard to replicate since Wireguard is pretty standard.
I think it would be cool if Tailscale made it into the enterprise arena.
I’m talking long term
Think 5-10 years from now. It could be fine but I think it would be better if we had more options.
There is a reason Adobe software doesn’t have a Linux version
Assuming you are right that’s about half of the total Wii U sales
Small compared to well known giants but this is really the first real successful console Value has launched
I don’t think all copyright is bad
The problem is when it is abused
Last time I checked Valve controls a lot of the ecosystem. Right now Value is a pretty good company but if they get to much control they will follow the pattern of enshitification. Lots of options is good.
Right now I use a lot of Gog as there isn’t any DRM.
I would be interested assuming it could run Linux
Honestly if I was them I would be very worried. As people move away from the Microsoft ecosystem Microsoft slowly loses control of the market.
The Steamdeck is flying off the shelves. I hope that many other companies start going Linux outside of value as the more companies involved the less likely one will ruin everything.
I think it comes down to if you can afford basic necessities. If you have your basic needs met money doesn’t buy happiness.
My point is that employment is needed to pay the bills. It is the same thing for a company plus some crazy. For large publicly companies they want the stock price to go up no matter what. Expecting Google to have any care about ethics doesn’t work as there are shareholders to appease. It is the reason SUSE went private.
Any libraries, businesses or other places looking to get rid of hardware?
I would start on the cheaper end as you will waste money with mistakes
I think Brazil has very high tariffs so that is probably what is driving up prices.
10 year old hardware may not be that bad. It depends on what it is and how much electricity costs.
I’m referencing a news segment I watched about low income people in places like Kentucky and West Virginia.
